I make pictures in our studio, outside and at events. For professional pole or portrait photoshoots I'm working together with Patrick Kaas from PK-foto. He provides professional assistance and knowledge. By the way, he also is one of the best nude & glamour dutch photographer, so for a boudoir shoot, call him ;-)!
As old as eight as I was already making pictures with disposable camera's and was interested in photography. But it's only in 2010 that I actively started at the photo-club of my University. There I learned about the technical details of this art and got serious feedback on my work which helps a lot to improve. I love working with people, emotions, they create endless possibilities. I love getting this special look on the picture that is not a posed smile and reveal someone personality. Yet I sometime prefer blending in the background and photograph quietly during events, capturing genuine moments.
As I discovered pole-dancing in June 2012, I got quickly hooked at this fantastic sport. I mean, yes it's such an heavy workout, yet fun and so empowering, and it can be hell sexy. I even tried aerial-hoop and I'm following aerial-silk as well. Always loved circus shows but since I'm practicing the discipline myself I have a greater admiration for the acts as you realize much better the difficulty and needed control.
But it's only in 2013 that the idea germ of blending my passions together and started working together with with PK-Foto (Patrick Kaas) and make some great pole-dance pictures, however doing a pole-photoshoot means having quite some room and a pole at your disposal, which is not always easy to arrange. We found a solution in 2014 by purchasing our very own X-stage : freedom! Inspiration is flowing and I want to create so many images...
Since begin 2015 we have a new bigger photostudio in Eindhoven of 5 meter high and lot of different lighting & accessories like a wind and smoke machine. Now I even have my own aerial hoop, two silks (blue & red) and another light stage so I have the possibility to make all sort of photoshoot. Since then I have been working with many people in the pole world and I feel grateful to have worked with the best athletes of Europe. My dream would be once to work with Cirque du Soleil artists or photograph their show... who know what the future holds!
I have currently a few project like Dancing Colors project that I'm working on, but also lot's of booking for event, schools and private shoot to come. Too many ideas, too little time. I just love being able to create beautiful images, make people happy with them and working with great aerial artists.
If you also want pictures of yourself, there are three options :
1-Book a photoshoot with me, a private, with a friend or during a day session. I deliver quality work of high standards and do my best to personalise the shoot to your wishes. See more information in Photography Services.
2-It is sometimes possible to work with me on a photography project on TFP basis. You will sign a model release so I may use the pictures for commercial purposes.
3-Participate in a competition I am covering ;-). You often get at a few pictures for free or you can order your pictures by emailing me.
Do you want personalised images for your school or business? I can make a photoshoot-package just for your needs.
In any case: Send me an email at email@example.com to know more about it, if you have a great project and would like to work together, I'll be happy to discuss with you the terms and conditions.
Here a few very important legal note to keep in mind when working with a photographer:
From the the clic on the camera, every photographer owns the copyright on every photo he or she makes. That means a picture cannot be published, reproduced or used by any mean without the explicit authorization from the photographer. This is also valid with the pictures that have been made during a photoshoot or event, unless agreed otherwise.
The person represented on the picture (here called model) has a portrait right and can refuse the use or publication of the pictures where he or she is appearing (unless the picture is taken during a public event like a competition).
The model can sign a model release where he or she agrees the photograph retains the right to use the pictures (sometimes under certain conditions).
The photograph can sells it's copyright, but that rarely occur. However the photograph can give or sell the right to use the picture for a particular usage.
Therefore, please remember that unless otherwise agreed, the pictures taken during a photoshoot cannot be used or published without my consent. Publishing them on Facebook with a link to my website or Facebook page, however is rarely a problem if you kindly ask me before :-). Moreover, I explicitely ask every model if I may use the pictures in my portfolio. For some pictures I also have a model release such that I can use the pictures for editorial and commercial purposes if wished.
